Services of an independent patient advocate are currently not covered by insurance plans, but the value of these services can result in a positive impact on costs, communications, and clarity for healthcare situations. Pathway Patient Navigation offers a free one-hour consultation, after which the consultant will provide a proposal for work based on the client’s stated needs and desires. 

Pathway Patient Navigation will work with the client to develop the best structure for a client given his or her healthcare situation. If the client chooses to retain the consultant, then a fee structure will be developed for an hourly rate. The client and consultant may also discuss the option of a retainer fee for ongoing work, depending on the client’s needs. Fees will be billed monthly.
